Purification Stages

KENT Supreme Alkaline RO contains 8 Stages of Water Purification. All the stages are arranged in order from first to last.

Sediment Filter:

It acts as the first stage of water purification. It removes heavy impurities like dust, sand, and mud from the water. It has tiny pores of 5 microns.

Active Carbon Filter:

It contains black carbon particles inside it which reduce excess chlorine, organic impurities by absorbing bad taste and odor. All the dissolved substances get attracted to the carbon particles on the surface.

Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane:

RO purification can remove the smallest solid particles and makes the dirtiest water fit for drinking. It has tiny pores of 0.0001 microns.

Ultra-Filtration (UF) Cartridge:

UF Cartridge is added after RO to make water more purified which removes some leftover contaminants into the water.

TDS Controller:

It is a device that is used to adjust TDS manually and increase the TDS level of the water as per your need to add natural minerals into the water.

Alkaline Cartridge:

The pH of normal water is 7. In simple words, If pH is less than 7 it is acidic and more than 7 it is alkaline. An alkaline cartridge increases the pH of water from 8.5-9.5 and makes it perfect for drinking.

UV Chamber:

UV chamber contains a UV lamp inside it, where water is passed through and kills all the harmful bacteria and viruses.

UV In-Tank:

There is a UV LED light inside the Water Storage Tank to make RO purifier water free from bacteria and viruses.
